Netpreneur Host Offers Web 2.0 Tools
June 2, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Netpreneur Host (netpreneurhost.com) announced on Monday that it has launched a package of tools designed to assist Webmasters in creating Web 2.0 Web sites.
The package, named Elefante Installer, is available with all Netpreneur Host Web hosting packages and includes 34 open-source Internet programs in categories such as ad management, blog, customer support, image galleries, content and server management, discussion boards and groupware tools.
Netpreneur Host adds that the package includes a one-click install function, equivalent to that offered by cPanel’s Fantastico and guides users through the creation of a database as well as the installation and customization of the software. Comprehensive help guides are included along with the package, says the company.
“Because we are not on the cPanel hosting platform, we needed to make it as easy as possible for our users to install Web 2.0 Internet applications,” says Daniel J. Briere, president of Netpreneur Host. “The Elefante Installer ensures that our hosting platform remains as robust as cPanel and it gives our users an option for creating better Web sites.”
