Web Hosting Colocation Service Provider, Host.net, to Acquire WebUnited

Deerfield Beach, Florida - (The Hosting News) - September 21, 2007 - Nationwide provider of IP and colocation services, Host.net, has acquired and will merge with the operations of independent providers of high-speed IP transport via Ethernet and data center services, WebUnited.

The newly combined companies will begin to work immediately to effectively integrate the WebUnited customers. WebUnited has provided many of the same services as Host.net, to thousands of customers through three business-class data center facilities located in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The three WebUnited data centers collectively offer more than 7,500 Sq.
